Carsons*, Charley A: “Mr Charles A Carsons*, son-in-law of Mr R A Burge, died Wednesday morning, March 1st, at 8 a.m., after a lingering illness of long duration. He was afflicted with a stomach trouble that had baffled the skill of physicians. He came west from Nebraska about a year and a half ago, and improved rapidly for a time, but his old trouble came back during the winter, and his death had been expected for several days; He and his family had been making their home on the Vose farm near Edwall, the funeral taking place in Edwall Thursday, March 2nd. Mr. Carsons*, who was an excellent citizen, leaves a wife and three children, two daughters and one son. Deceased was a middle aged man, was a member of the Woodmen of the World, under the auspices of which society he was buried.” (LCT-March 3, 1905) From Lincoln Co., Washington U. S. Gen-Web site.
