A resident of Morris the past 11 years, and formerly of Ballwin, Mo., Mrs. Balzer was a graduate of Maine South High School in Park Ridge, and the University of Illinois. She was formerly employed as a teacher for Immaculate Conception School in Morris, and also served the school as librarian.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dudley J. Balzer of Morris; three sons, Philip, Kyle and David Balzer; her mother, Virginia (Brizzolara) Canning; three brothers, Charles (Lisa), William (Sue) and John (Sandy) Canning; one sister, Peggy (Peter) Armstrong; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, her in-laws, James and Patricia Balzer; sisters-in-law, Kay Balzer and LeAnne Balzer.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Canning.
Age 50 years.
