Georgena Luella Carlson, 82, a longtime Raymond resident died on Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at the St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was born Nov. 2, 1924, at Pasadena, Calif., to George and Hattiemae (Garfield) Kentner. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Raymond and a member of the Rebecca Lodge where she had held all offices.
Her zest for life and fun-loving personality will be missed by all. She married her husband of 60 years, Jacob Carlson on April 27, 1946, in Eugene, Ore. He passed away on April 19th of this year. She enjoyed playing the guitar and other instruments.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda and her husband, Larry Beatty of Menlo; a son, Don and his wife, Jani Carlson of Hoquiam; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond. Inurnment will be with her husband at the Menlo Cemetery. Arrangements are by:
