Mrs. Olive Griffith
GRASS RANGE - Mrs. Olive M. Griffith, 68, died at St. Joseph Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Griffith was a long-time resident of Grass Range and a member of Eastern Star, Grass Range Methodist WSCS, and Grass Range Methodist Church.
She was born Oct. 26, 1890, in Forest Grove, the daughter of the late George and Mary Ayers. She was reared in Grass Range and educated in Lewistown and Lincoln, Neb.
She married Lewis Griffith in Lewistown Dec. 15, 1908. She was preceded in death by a son.
Survivors include her husband of Grass Range; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Vahl, Grass Range; Mrs M. B. Phelan, Grass Valley, Calif.; two sons, Thomas L. Griffith, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; Bruce W. Griffith, Grass Gange: a sister, Mrs. E. Lee Stewart of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother Robert C. Ayers, of Arlington, VA.
Funeral services were held at the Creel Funeral Home by the Rev. Ellen H. Rose. Burial was in the Lewistown City Cemetery.
