Paul Edward Brewer, 61, husband of Carol Powell Brewer died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006. A native of Lexington, he was the son of the late Maurice Nathaniel & Lucille Ambrose Brewer, a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of the Georgetown Community Church. A retired farrier, he owned Bluegrass Forge for 27 years and was currently employed by Lowe's of Georgetown.
Survivors besides his wife include 2 sons: Craig (Cherie) Queen, Caseville MI and Scott (Kelley) Queen, Floyd, VA, 14 grandchildren, a sister: Wanda (Bill) Dugger, Georgetown and 2 brothers: Bill (Linda) Brewer & Carl (Cynthia) Brewer all of Lexington.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Russell Cave Road Baptist Church by Gary Graves, pastor of Georgetown Community Church. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be: Craig & Scott Queen, Billy Brewer, Jacob & Josh Dugger, Paul Bredberg and Tim Craig. Visitation will be 5—8 P.M. Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home.
