She was the oldest of nine children born to Casper and Anna Lensing. Her husband of 60 years, Herman J Buss, their infant son, Herman J. Buss Jr., 5 brothers and 2 sisters preceded Helen in death. Surviving are her 4 children, Guss Buss of Subiaco, Mary Anna Owens of Scranton, Raymond Buss of North Little Rock and Eugene Buss of Arlington, Texas; her brother, Thomas Lensing of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
