She traveled widely with her husband who was in the U.S. Air Force, living in Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad and French Morocco. She worked for The Fair, Titches and Dillard's in the Metroplex area for many years, retiring in 1996. She then volunteered her time at an Arlington hospital. Her parents, Laura Ruth Napier Roberts Mitchell and John Millard Mitchell, as well as her husband of 57 years preceded her in death. ......"
