Veda Winegar Tippetts Bianchi, 78, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away April 23, 2002.
She was born September 26, 1923 in Bountiful, Utah to John Elias and Lena Veora Thalmann Winegar. She married Lowell Lafayette Tippetts on May 9, 1942. Lowell preceded her in death in 1958. On April 30, 1966, Veda married Roger A. Bianchi in Elko, Nevada.
Veda worked for Jordan School District, and as a Legal Secretary. She was active in the LDS Church and held many positions. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and her grandchildren.
Survivors: husband, Roger; children, Ron (Cathy) Bianchi, Michael (Carrie) Tippetts; Sharon (Dennis) Kresser; Russell Bianchi, Nancy (Paul) Brown; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, Richard and Harvey Winegar; sisters, Colleen Salisbury and Helen Winegar. Preceded in death by brothers, Milford, Dean, Clinton Winegar; sister, Elaine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State where friends may call Thursday from 11:30 to time of services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
