Bateman,, John Benjamin Passed away on Dec 04, 2006 from cancer. He was born in Dallas on Nov. 25, 1957 and received a Holy Confirmation from the Episcopal Church on March 25, 1973. He lived in Oak Cliff and graduated from W.H Adamson High School in 1976. He joined th US Marine Corps after graduation where he was a member of the drum corps and a member of the National Association of Rudimental Drummers.While in the Marines he received five letters of commendations and was discharged in 1980. He returned to Dallas and began a 29 - year career in the construction industry.

He is proceded in death by his mother and father and leaves no immediate family although over the years he became a member of the Conley and Brown families who will miss him dearly. He was one of a kind and a true friend who was loved by all.

Any remembrances should be made to the American Cancer Society. Interment at DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Jeter & Son 4830 Illinois Ave. 214 330-4700
