CENTRAL CITY -- God called our precious loved one, Jerdon Levi Alexander, home on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006. He was born in Ohio County on March 1, 1915. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Ann Alexander; his father, John Alexander; stepfather, Marion Ball; mother, Clara Ball; sisters Mary Smith Renfro and Ree Belle Sublett; and his stepbrother, Carl Ball. His living stepsister is Roberta Ball Harris.

Jerdon will be remembered as a devoted husband to Lena Johnson for 72 years (Aug. 4, 1934); a loving dad to sons Claudis Levi, Charles Ray and Jerry Wayne; and a daughter, Linda Sue; a caring granddad to 14 and great-granddad to nine; and a kind friend to anyone who needed him.
