Fort Worth - E.W. "Bill" Aiken, 80, a retired machinist, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at a local hospital.
Memorial service: 7 p.m. Friday at Parkwood Retirement Community Center. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Albany Cemetery in Albany, Texas.
E.W. "Bill" Aiken was born June 5, 1917, in Detroit, Mich. He was an avid ham radio operator. He retired from General Dynamics and traveled the United States extensively with his wife, Alene, who preceded him in death. His passion in later life was computer construction. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors: Son, David William Aiken of Weatherford; niece, Jan Hawkins of North Richland Hills; and numerous nephews and nieces.
