Betty Howard, 71, of Townsend, died Friday Nov. 17, 2006, at St. Peter's hospital in Helena.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1935, to Floyd and Juanita Allington.
She is survived by two brothers, Ken (Doris) Allington and Keith Allington; four sisters, Kaye (Ron) Butler, Karen Ridl, Cheryl Jones and Bonnie (Rod) Vetter; three sons, Randy (Cindy) Howard, Ron (Sookie) Howard and Russ (JoaAnne) Howard; two daughters, Berta (Ron) Campbell and Renea (Ray Spindler) Howard; 13 grandchildren and five great-granchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held in Townsend at the Legion Club, 211 Broadway at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20. Cremation has taken place.
