She was the daughter of John Dodge, one of the Dodge Brothers, original owners of the Dodge Motor Car Company and his first wife Ivy. Widow of Detroit developer and banker, Wesson Seyburn. One of her daughters, Winifred "Peggy" Seyburn was married for a while to the Pretender to the Portuguese Throne.
