Joseph W. Hardesty, 56, Marengo, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Huntingburg.
Born June 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Anthony and Blanche Kellems Hardesty.
He was a timber cutter, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of New Highland Baptist church.
Survivors include his caregiver, Anna M. Wright of Marengo; and four sisters, Linda Hartwick of English, Jo Ellen Smith and Penny Sturgeon, both of Taswell, and Ruby Hall of Depauw.
Graveside service: Monday, Nov. 20, at Taswell Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. John Bye.
