The funeral services of Mrs. Laura Bowling, wife of Benjamin S. Bowling, were conducted at the Universalist Church on Sunday afternoon, the 4th inst., by the Rev. Mr. Fall. Mrs. B. died at her residence in Marcellus on Friday, the 2d inst, of diphtheria. Her remains were brought here for internment, and although the day was cold and stormy, the house was filled with friends and relatives among whom the deceased had spent the most of her life. Mrs. Bowling was a daughter of Mrs. Bucklin who lives just of town on McKinney's prairie.
