Funeral services were held in Jasper today for Adams Redlin Adams, 68, a lifelong resident of Jasper and a brother to J. T. Adams, Orange attorney. Services were read in the Stringer Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Herman Coe, pastor of the First Baptist Church there, officiating. Burial was in the Jasper Cemetery.
Mr. Adams died in a Jasper hospital Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a long illness. A son of the late R. F. (Red) Adams, Jasper County pioneer, he was a member of the Baptist church.
Other survivors are his sister, Mrs. Kate Mauer of Beaumont and a number of nieces and nephews.
