Surviving are three daughters, Miss Minnie Martens, at home; Miss Margaret Martens, Shoals, Ind.; Mrs Ella Wolverton, Ionia, Mich.; two sons, John W. of Anchor and J. Louis of Normal; two sisters, Mrs Mary Remmers, Pasadena, Ca.; Mrs Sina Mulhausen, Wichita, Kans.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two children died in infancy.
She was the oldest resident of Anchor and of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the Church.
She is listed in the confirmation records at St Peter Lutheran church near Benson, Woodford Co, Illinois as Gretje Cornelia Saathoff. Grace is a very common name Ostfriesen people in the US used for Gretje.
