Obituary:
DANIEL T. FRY, 81, Seward RD 1, died Sunday, May 2, 1976 at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. A son of George and Annie Rager Fry, he was born April 18, 1895 in East Wheatfield Township. Mr. Fry was a member of the Seward United Presbyterian church and UMWA Local 980. He was formerly employed at the Robindale mines. Mr. Fry's death ended a marriage union of 57 years. Surviving are his widow, Myrtle Shoultz Fry; these children: Ernest, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Misner, both of Johnstown; Carl, Armagh; Clarence, Mrs. Donald (Geraldine) Craig, both of Seward; Kenneth, New Florence; Mrs. Alex (Myrtle) Yobbagy, Ebensburg; 24 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two nieces: Mrs. Viola Mangus, Mrs. Eileen Wright; two sisters: Mrs. Laura Fry, Seward; Mrs. Dora Trindle, Blairsville; He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Mrs. Edna Lonas, a grandson, Mark; and two brothers, George and John. Friends will be received from 24 and 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Kenneth N. Gray Funeral Home, Seward, where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Jacobs officiating. Intermemt will be in the Armagh Cemetery.
