Gladys Pauline Gahimer Cass was born on July 5,1916 in Rush County, the daughter of George & Addie Bell Rader Gahimer.Her brother Leonidas "Ike" Gahimer and sisters;Thelma Gahimer Fox,Isabel Gahimer Smith. Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Gladys married William Cecil Cass Sr. on February 25,1939. She was a homemaker. Their children were:
John Wayne Cass Sr.,William cecil Cass Jr.,Leonard George Cass,Donald Eugene Gahimer. She had 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Gladys died April 3,1993 at the Brandywine Manor Home in Greenfield,Indiana. Funeral arrangements were by Carmony-Ewing of Shelbyville. Rev. Max Eveland officated the funeral. Gladys was buried in the Fountaintown Cemetery.
