Sweetwater - Jordan Fulton Aylor, 72, retired farmer, died at 11:10 a.m. Friday in Simmons Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Bob Powell, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Neil Rogers, pastor of Lamar Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Patterson-McCoy Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 10, 1896 in Hill County, he married Ruby Jewell on Oct. 19, 1943 in Sweetwater. He moved to Sweetwater a year ago from Roscoe, where he had lived the previous 24 years.
Survivors include the wife; two daughters, SSgt. Betty Sue Aylor of Germany and Mrs. Jack Hucklebridge of Sweetwater; a son, Johnny Fulton of Vietnam; his father, John P. Aylor of Sweetwater; four sisters, Louise Aylor of Houston, Mrs. Johnny Matlock of San Saba, Mrs. Katherine Tudor of Houston and Martha Marie of Luling; and three grandchildren.
