Robert Troy Avery
Services for Robert Troy Avery, 87, of Burney will be 11 a.m. November 10, 2005 at McDonald's Chapel in Burney. The Reverend Stan Terry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burney Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, at the Chapel.
Mr. Avery died at his home following a long illness, November 5, 2005.
He was born June 11, 1918 in Clark County, Arkansas and moved to the area from Prineville, Oregon in 1951.
Mr. Avery was a timber faller for Louisiana Pacific Lumber Co. for 35 years, an Army Veteran of WWII, Member of the First Baptist Church in Burney, Fort Crook Lodge #250 F&AM in Fall River Mills, and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by wife Esther; son Troy of Carson City, Nevada; daughters Vermice Turner of Round Mountain and Ruby Chaplin of Grangeville, Idaho.
