Minnie was born December 15, 1883 in Kentucky, the daughter of Dan Crady, born in Larue County, Kentucky and Elizabeth Lewis, born in Nelson County, Kentucky. (Death Certificate of Minnie Barnes.)
Note that there is a Sarah E. (Lewis) Crady, (born 1859, death date unknown), buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hodgenville, Larue County, Kentucky.

Minnie married Ernest Walker Barnes on May 13, 1903.

1. Elizabeth Barnes, born ca. 1904 in Kentucky. Married a Mr. Despain
2. Eloise Edelin Barnes, born ca. 1907 in Kentucky.
3. William Robert Barnes (1909-1981). Married Nancy Ann Fisher.
4. John F. Barnes, born 1913 in Nelson Co., Kentucky
5. Ernest R. Barnes, born 1916 in Nelson Co., Kentucky.
6. Catherine E. Barnes, born 1919 in Larue Co., Kentucky. Married a Mr. Thompson

Minnie Barnes died March 20, 1932 in Lyons, Larue County, Kentucky at the age of 48. The cause of her death was pulmonary tuberculosis. The attending physicain was M. J.
