Born in Hannibal, Oswego Co, NY, she was the daughter of Anna Jane Sherman Pitcher and Harvey Day Pitcher. She was the sister of Lucille, Cleo, Giffie, Leola, Ernest, Enos & Orr Pitcher.

The wife of Everett F. Gantley. Their children are Dennis, Everett, Maria(Murdoch) & Joseph Gantley. They lived in the Fulton, NY area, and she worked as a cook at the jail and also as a crossing guard.

Grandma always put flowers on her cousin Eva's grave but for many years someone would steal them and put them on another grave farther down the hill. I never really understood that, I mean seriously, stealing flowers.
