Mrs. Joe Davis, 81, a resident of the Pauls Valley area the last 79 years,
died at 11:40 p.m. Friday in the N. H. Lindsey Memorial hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1884 in Texas. She was a resident of 203 South Montie.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Stufflebean Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. J. R. McBride of Bartlesville will officiate, assisted by
Rev. O. W. Johnston of Pauls Valley. Burial will be held in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. R. F. White of Canyon, TX.,
Mrs. Loy Johnson of Sacramento, Ca., Mrs. Beady Clark,
Mrs Thelma Engelke and Mrs. Cecil Talley, all of Pauls Valley,
and Mrs. Imogene Lewellen of Caruthers, Ca. ;
five sons Ed Davis of Pauls Valley, Sanford Davis and Murl Davis,
both of Oklahoma City, Ralph Davis of La Marque, TX., and Wayne Davis of Dallas, TX.;
one brother Mat Malicoat of Pauls Valley; 39 grandchildren,
