CLARKSVILLE - Joyce Dobson, 64, of Clarksville died Saturday, May 2, 1998, at East Texas Medical Center, Clarksville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. A.B. Kellam officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born July 26, 1933, in Colorado City, Texas to Robert and Edna Black Cain. She was an avid sports fan especially of the Texas Rangers. Her husband, Gordon Grant "Buddy" Dobson , died in 1976.
Surviving are sons, Chuck Dobson and wife Charlotte and their children, Chartina, Charlie and Connie of Greenville; Ray Dobson of Colorado City and his son Kevin; Lyn Dobson and wife Betty of Garland and their son Jason; and Joe Dobson and wife Sally of Snyder and their son Todd ; a daughter, Debbie Adams and husband Doyle of Clarksville and their son Curtis; a sister, Bessie House of Colorado City; and a brother, R.B. Cain of Colorado City.
