CLYDE JAMES ALEXANDER Went to be with the Lord Oct. 7, 2006. He was born Jan. 6, 1927 in Garnett, Kansas. Clyde served in the Navy during WWII attached to the U.S.S. Catskill N/C Division. His travels in the war took him to San Diego where he met and fell in love with his wife Wanda. They were married 58 years till she went to be with the Lord in Dec. of 2004. Clyde loved to travel and go camping. He was able to attend his last ship reunion in Arizona in 2006. He was also a member of The Hemet Odd Fellows. Clyde is survived by his daughter, Sharon Arrieta (Alexander) and her husband Rob of Riverside; Mike Alexander and his wife Marsha of Kansas; David Alexander and his wife Debbie serving in Jamacia; grandchildren, Shannon White and husband John of Riverside; Amy Alexander serving in Afghanistan; Lindsay Alexander of CA, Jacob Alexander serving in the Army in Washington D.C.; great-grandchildren, Samantha Noah; Ashley White and Cassidy White; and of course his dog Babe! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VNA Hospice. Services will be held at Miller Jones Mortuary in Sun City on Saturday Oct. 21, 2006 at 11:00AM with a Graveside Service at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:30PM. Arrangements handled by: SUN CITY -
