She was born to John and Regina R (Bergman) Albers.
Marliese and her husband were farmer and raised many wonderful crops including pumpkins, musk melons, and watermelons. She also raised four children of whom she was always very proud.
She was devoted to her parents and her mother was always talking about her. A sadness of many years duration descended upon Regina after the death of her daughter.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rethman of Versailles and her four children. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Ann Marie and an older sister, Rosemary Henrietta Albers.
