Born at Pharaoh to Oits and Stanley Adams and Goldie M. Sivils. He grew up with 2 brothers and 1 sister; and attended school at Beggs and Dewar and graduated and started a 4-yr duty with the US Navy. He served from 1958 -1962 as a sonar technician. He returned to civilian life and attended Conners State College.
He worked for a while as a dispatcher for the Okmulgee Police Dept., joined SW Bell & Telephone Co., where he was a customer service technician.
He married on 16 May 1980, Alverna L. Wilemon; together they made a home with their daughter Schandra.
He had 2 children: Michael and Terry Adams by his first wife.
He was a member of the Keys Southern Baptist Church and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alverna in 2003; his parents; his brother Dondald; and one nephew Phillip Foust.
He is survived byt his 3 children: Michael and Donna Adams of Sallisaw, Terry Adams & family of Ft. Smith, AR, and a daughter Schandra Bates of the home in Keys; his sister Kathy Foust of Keys; his brother Jerry and wife Mary Adams of Inola; 2 very special grandchildren: Travis Adams and Hailly Adams of Sallisaw.
