Zola Opal Burns, 98, of Bronte died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, in the Bronte Healthcare and Rehab.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, in the Decker Cemetery in Nolan County with the Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Services will be under the direction of the McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.

She was born on Sept. 7, 1905 in Maryneal. She was a Methodist and homemaker. She lived near Ft. Chadbourne and Bronte most of her life.

Survivors include one niece, Wanda Weteck of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; one nephew, Eugene Burns of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and her sister-in-law, Leon Burns of Mt. Vernon, Mo.
