Imogene was born in Waka, Texas, to the late Marcus and Callie Ethel (Youngblood) Stowe. She was a member of the First Assembly of God on Bosque Blvd., and she was very involved in her church. Imogene enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Ballard; brother, Claude Ballard; and sisters, Jewel Tatken Horst and Ethel Stowe.
She is survived by her husband, Loman A. Ballard, of Silsbee; daughters, Debra Dutton and husband, Tom, of Temple, and Patricia Roberts and husband, Glenn, of Lumberton, Texas; and grandchildren: Erin Dutton, Michael Dutton and Matthew Roberts.
