Professional Snooker Player.After turning professional at 16 in 1995,he won his first major title,the 1998 Welsh Open,aged 19.He also won the Welsh title in 2002 and won the British Open trophy the same year.He won The Masters Invitation event on three occasions,and reached number 4 in the world rankings.He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in March 2005,and died in Kirkwood Hospice, Huddersfield five days before his 28th birthday.
