Arthur Albert Baca, 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at his home in Socorro, NM surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 22, 1935 to Onesimo and Lola (Gonzales) Baca in Socorro, NM. He worked for the County of Socorro Road Dept. and retired after many years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son James Baca; and his brother, Seferino Baca. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ida (Molina) Baca of their home in Socorro; sons: Albert Baca and wife, Lucy of Socorro; and Ernest Baca of Socorro; daughter, Crucita Baca of Socorro; brothers: Adolph Baca and wife, Rowena of San Antonio, NM; and Elizar Baca and wife, Christina of Socorro; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to be celebrated immediately following. Father Jose Hernandez as Celebrant. Internment will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at San Miguel Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
