Mrs. Doris Armfield of High Point, widow of Mr. Davis Armfield
of Monroe, died Saturday. The funeral was held in High Point
Sunday. Among those attending were Miss Lura Heath, Mrs.
Sam Hudson, Mrs. Emsley Armfield and Miss Margaret Laney.
Frank Armfield of Concord also attended the funeral. the body
was placed in the family plot at Springfield Friends church just
outside the High Point city limits.
