After Avery died in 1930 she married for a second time and then to Jessie L. Smith on Oct. 1, 1933 in Lewis Co., TN. His memorial site is No. 16749701, Mimosa Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, TN. She and Avery had at least two children but one died early. The second, a son named Battie [sic] was born in c1926 and apparently did not survive to the 1940 census. Ila and Jessie had at least one child, Elizabeth, born c1936 in Lawrence Co.
