Lois Veryl Conrad 85, of Grampian passed away Tuesday October 3, 2006 at the Clearfield Hospital after a brief illness.
Born February 4, 1921 in Grampian she was the daughter of Howard I and Roxie (Orcutt) Spencer.
Mrs Conrad had worked several years ago in the food service department of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield. She had attended ST. Paul's United Methodist Church in Grampian. She as a former member of grampian Women's Club.
She is survived by 6 children Enna Rowles and her husband Commodore of Curwensville, Jean Hewitt and her husband William of Curwensville, James E. Conrad and his wife Joanne of Grampian RD, Richard L. Conrad and his wife Judy of Hopewell Junction, NY, Diane Bernardo and her husband John of Brockway, and Deborah S. Bloom and her husband John of Grampian. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and sister Maude London of Grampian, and Brother Melvin Spencer and his wife Patricia of Grampian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James O. Conrad whom she wed in September of 1936 and who preceded her in death in 1987, She was also preceded in death by a brother Howard Spencer and a infant brother Emery Spencer.
