L. V. was a downs syndrome child and always lived at home. I had been told that he went to school with all the other children, but James Floyd Shackelford and Mack Reynolds said they never knew of this and both doubted that he would have been able to attend school.
We do not have a picture of L. V. If someone has a picture of him they would like to add to his Memorial, please do. I took the picture of his headstone in 1995 when I was at the cemetery. It is the Gross Funeral Home metal marker that has been set in a cement block. When I was there it was still in very good condition and able to read. The picture came out blurred and you cannot make out all of his name.
L. V. was my first cousin two times removed.
