KENMORE - Edward Prikryl, 92, of Alterra Wynwood Home, 2971 Delaware Ave., formerly of 409 James Ave., Jamestown, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday (Jan. 6, 2003) in Sister's Hospital, Buffalo. He was born Aug. 13, 1910, in Mount Pleasant, Pa., the son of Joseph and Ann Cechura Prikryl.
He attended schools in Mount Pleasant.
He is survived by three daughters: Carole Ann Abell of Warren, Ohio, Susan Marie Weaver of Mendocino, Calif., and Kristina Ruth Smith of Buffalo; three grandchildren: Marie Heggarty of Destin, Fla., Heidi Hannell of Lynchburg, Va., and Sean Bauer of Carmel, Ind.; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Chester Prikryl of Largo, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Gottfried Prikryl, whom he married June 21, 1939, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and who died Feb. 8, 1995; a grandson, Michael Bauer; and two brothers: Louis and Charles Prikryl.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
