Lucy Jo Scott, (Lucy Jo Allen), 74, departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2006. Funeral service to be held 10:00 am Friday, October 6, 2006 at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Friday at the Abilene Cemetery, Abilene, KS. Lucy Jo was born December 2, 1931 to the late Victor and Rose Elizabeth Allen of Abilene, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin F. Scott and brother Victor Allen, Jr. Lucy Jo is survived by a daughter, Debra Flory of Wichita, KS, son and daughter-in-law Mel and Jamie Scott of Edmond, OK, daughter and son-in-law Lucy and Shane Graeff of Derby, KS, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Shawna and Jonathan Kershaw, grandson Cooper Scott, granddaughter Carly Scott and grandson Marcus Graeff. Lucy Jo was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was active with the Wichita Choral Society, Funtastics and Boeing Strato Singers.
