Octavia Carolyn Lambert, 75, of Muskogee, Oklahoma died Friday, August 26, 2005 in her home.

She was reared at Tyronza, she graduated from Tyronza High School and attended the University of Arkansas, where she joined Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

In 1953 she moved to Muskogee and joined Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member for 52 years, she was also active in United Methodist Women, Service League of Muskogee and was a former board member of the YWCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Lambert.

She was survived by three sons, Walter L. Lambert, Dr. Gary W. Lambert and Scott E. Lambert, all of Muskogee; a daughter, Lisa A. Hostetler of Bentonville; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a brother-in-law and his wife, Walter and Mary Lambert of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church, with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her grandsons; William G. Lambert, Adam Lambert, Nathan McKinney, Elijah Hostetler, Dustan Moss, Ryan Watts and Gary Wayne Fetterhoff II.
