Son of Michael James Fitzgerald and Mary Matilda Fitzgerald. Husband of Merle Reeves Foutz Fitzgerald. Father of M. Fern Fitzgerald Higgins, Win Fitzgerald, Harold Fitzgerald and Don Fitzgerald. He was living in Klamath Falls, Oregon at the time of his death. He was killed when hit by a truck while crossing a street. James Corey Fitzgerald was my great grandfather.
I never knew "Bish" as they called him, but I have heard family stories. One of my favorites was when he was using a hammer on something and hit his hand or thumb.
