Francis Abair was known as Captn Abair, a pioneer seaman who sailed the Great Lakes for 45 years. He married Louise Manville.(She was the sister of my GG Grandfather Captn. Charles S. Manville of Toledo and also buried at Calvary Cemetery . They sailed together on Abairs ship the St.Peter)

Born Francois Hebert to Marc Antoine Hebert and Julie Pin. The family name changed to ABAIR. He married Louise Miville February 8, 1853 in Mt. Clemens, Macomb, Michigan.∼son of Alphonse Abair & Margaret
