Erika 'Mima' Andrews, 84, of 833 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, Pa. went to be with her Dear Lord on June 4th, 2006 following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family at the home of her son where she resided for the last four weeks. She will be deeply missed. She was a member of Calvary Church, Lancaster. Born in Essen, Germany, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnnie 'Opa' Andrews, by only 4 days. They were married for more than 42 years. Her parents were the late Johann and Luise Stebani and she had three sisters and twin brothers who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Dr. Wolfram, husband of Arlene (Stoltzfus) Andrews of New Holland; a daughter, Brigitte, wife of George Lovsey of McConnelsville, OH; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great granddaughters. Mima enjoyed sewing and tending to her flower garden. She would always have a kind word to say to whoever she met. A joint funeral service for both 'Mima' and 'Opa' will be held at the Christian Fellowship, 758 Spruce Rd., New Holland on Friday, June 9th at 10:00 AM. Friends may call on the family at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in their loving memory to the Water Street Rescue Mission, 210 South Prince Street, Lancaster, Pa 17603.
