Mrs. John Grady, after an illness of three weeks of typhoid-pnuemonia, died Monday morning at Grace Hospital. The funeral services were conducted from the home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock by Rev. F. A. Bower, of the First Baptist church, of which Mrs. Grady was a loyal and faithful member, and interment made at Zion church, near her old home.
Mrs. Grady was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Roper, who live near Morganton, and is survived bf(sic) her parents, a number of brothers and sisters, her husband and four children. Mrs. C. L. Edwards, a sister, came Tuesday from Hopewell, Va., for the funeral.
