REDKEY--Leroy Ayres, 76, Redkey, died at the Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton Wednesday. He moved from Albany to Redkey in 1947 and with his family operated a lumber yard there for over 60 years.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie; a son, Jim Ayres, Muncie; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel McDaniel and Miss Blanche Ayres, both of Dunkirk, and Mrs. Margaret Bradley, Fort Wayne and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Jones Mortuary with Rev. Lewis Hathaway and Rev. Russell Henry officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
