Mable Irene Boyd, 80 entered into rest September 25, 2006. A native of Toledo she graduated from Scott High School in 1945, was Employed as an elevator operator at LaSalle's Department Store, attended the University of Toledo, was a member of the Toledo Travelers Recreational Vehicle Club and a faithful member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church.

Mable was preceded in death by her father William Philpott and husband Harold Boyd Sr.

Surviving family members are her mother, 102 years of age, Magnolia Philpott; sons Harold Jr., Dwight and Marvin; Daughter Sheila Boyd (Gregory) Siek; grandchildren, Stephanie, Natalie and Zachary Siek all of Berea, OH, Alicia Boyd of Toledo and a host of aunts, one uncle, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Visitation Sunday 4-6 p.m. Dale-Riggs Chapel. Wake Monday 11 a.m. Funeral 12 noon. at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. John Roberts officinat. Interment Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
