Irene Deloris Olsen Bushnell McDonald, age 59, passed away Jan. 15th at a local
Hospital.
Born July 19, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Floy and Katie Olsen. Irene
devoted her life to her children. She kept them involved in sports, church, and
religious activities.
Irene was also devoted to her husband, John Bushnell, until his passing from a
long term illness. She taught Sunday School and Primary for the LDS Church. She
was an avid member of the Alliance House. She will be missed by all.
Survived by daughters, Robin Bushnell Crystal (Tim) and Joy Bushnell; sons,
Kelly, LeR (Dory), Tracy (Christie), Shawn, Byron (Ginger), and Troy (Sarah)
Bushnell; mother, Katie Olsen; and sisters, Lorraine (JR) Barton, and Laray
(Ken) Brock; and 16 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband, John
Bushnell, her father, Floy Olsen, and her granddaughter, Charisse.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 20th, at 10 a.m. in the Larkin
Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8
p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
