Emma was born in 1912 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania.Her family moved to the Bronx,New York. First on Kruger Avenue,then on Nereid Avenue.She met her husband,Joseph Chiappa and were married and lived in Eastchester, New York. In 1943 Joseph was drafted into military service (U.S.Army).He returned to Emma in 1945.They opened a business in Tuckahoe, New York, R.C. T.V. and radio repair shop.Later moving the business to Eastchester,New York.Emma and Joe retired from R.C. T.V.after 40 years of service.Emma and Joe moved from Eastchester to Tamarac,Florida for their retirement. They were very active in thier community. Winning many dance contest and working in clubhouse events.They loved the Tamarac community.Joseph passed away in March of 1996.Emma stayed in Tamarac moving to an apartment. She became sick and was moved to The Special Senoir of Inverrary Home in Lauderhill,Florida. Where she passed away with dignity,and great care on September 3,2006.Her cause of death was Pneumonia.
