Swedish restaurant manager. Full name: Per (Petter) Albert, originally Jansson. Albert was the oldest of the six sons of Johan P. Andersson and Anna Katrina Andersdotter to attain adulthood. When the family was living at the Ersboda farm in Salem (Rönninge) south of Stockholm, his father suddenly died and Albert, who was only 16, began to work as a schoolteacher. He was eventually taught to be a baker. He adopted his father's last name as an adult and married Thilda Ekström. They had one son. When the boy was only six, Albert died of a heart attack at only 33. The family was then living in Enköping, "Sweden's nearest town", where Albert had advanced socially and professionally to the position of Food and Beverage Manager at the Stadshotellet hotel. His lonely grave with its big stone is very close to the Church of our Lady, beautifully located on a hill in Enköping. His widow and son left town and moved to other parts of Sweden. Albert's branch of the family died out with his son, who was married but had no children. Thilda never remarried.
