Mrs. Altomare was born September 10, 1921 in Washingtonville, a daughter of Robert and Jane Marie Tourdot Eyster.
She had been a homemaker and lived in this area all of her life. She attended the Columbiana Church of Christ.
Her husband, Eugene Paul Altomare, whom she married in 1939, died January 12, 1975.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Gamble of Leetonia, Mrs. John (Patty) Madison of Salem; Mrs. Jim (Janie) Johnson of Columbiana; three sons, John (Geri) Altomare of Salem; Mark E. Altomare and Rick (Patty) Altomare both of Leetonia; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Altomare; a son, Richard Altomare; and a grandson, John Altomare, Jr. as well as her brothers and sisters.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Steve Fortenberry of the Common Ground Church Community officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Friends will be received from 10-11:00 a.m. at the cemetery chapel.
