Found Shot To Death
HOMERVILLE -
Charlton Blitch Jr., 33, was discovered by a
passing motorist Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Cecil Barber said Blitch died of a shotgun blast
and a 12-guage shotgun was found beside the body.
However the position of the wound led investigators to be-
lieve the victim was killed and the shotgun discarded at the
scene to make the death appear to be a suicide, Barber said.
Barber said Blitch's locked truck was parked about 25
paces from where the body was found.
He added there was no indication of robbery.

was murdered.
